The 23 members are International Rugby Board (IRB) full or associated members are: Botswana, Burundi, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritania, Mauritius, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, Togo, Tunisia, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe
2 members are affiliated with the IRB are: Mayotte , Réunion
11 members are not affiliated with the IRB are: Algeria, Benin, Burkina Faso, Central Africa, Chad Congo, DR Congo, Egypt, Gabon, Libya, @#!*%
Launched in 1986 this confederation is designed to promote and improve rugby between the African Nations.
Currently there are 36 countries involved in the CAR including: South Africa, Tunisia, Morocco, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Tanzania, Kenya, the Seychelles and Madagascar are involved in the Confederation.
